Annual Lettings Plan and local lettings policies

Annual Lettings Plan 2024 to 2025

The Annual Lettings Plan is an integral part of our Housing Allocation Scheme. Each year lettings outcomes are analysed to determine priorities and thresholds for the next year, based on letting outcomes, including lettings to people falling within the statutory reasonable preference categories as well as those who meet local needs and priorities.

The Annual Lettings Plan is divided into two parts:

The Annual Lettings Plan Part 1 (PDF) sets out lettings quotas for applicant groups in 2024 to 2025 and income and savings thresholds which are reviewed and updated each year.

The Annual Lettings Plan Part 2 (PDF) provides an analysis of lettings data on which we base our quotas for the forthcoming year.

Income and savings thresholds

Each year, these Income and savings thresholds (PDF) are reviewed and published as part of the Annual Lettings Plan.

Local lettings policies

Local lettings policies are an important tool that can be used to respond to specific circumstances and allows us to use flexibility within their allocation scheme for a wide variety of housing management and policy objectives. These policies allow a set of specific objectives or intents which are applied to a specific property or properties or a specific development, where the qualification and priority criteria can be varied.

Outcomes from these local lettings policies are monitored quarterly to review and report against established aims and objectives.

Our current local letting polices are listed here:
