How to report a repair

For non-emergency repairs, you can use the online forms to report online (link opens in new window) for:

  • electrical repairs
  • gas / central heating repairs
  • any other repairs

We will receive your repair and call you back by telephone or contact you by other means if you prefer.

By phone

Ring the free phone number 0800 074 0263 to report your repairs. Lines are open:

  • Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 5.15pm
  • Friday, 8:45am to 4.45pm

A recorded voice will guide you on how to report your repairs.

Option 1 – gas repairs

NOTE: If you suspect a gas leak, please call the National Grid free on 0800 111 999.

Option 2 – electrical repairs

Before reporting any electrical faults, please make sure that the fault doesn’t relate directly to a faulty appliance (e.g. an iron, fridge, light fitting etc.). For more information, contact our electrical contractor Purdy (link opens in new window).

Option 3 – general repairs

Please note, certain repairs are the responsibility of the tenant and a full list of these repairs is shown below under ‘Tenant responsibility repairs’.

When you phone to report a repair, we will advise you if the repair is the responsibility of the landlord or the tenant.

Emergencies outside office hours

Please call the free phone number 0800 074 0263. If you call outside of office hours, at weekends and during national holidays, your call will be diverted to our out of hours service.

This service is for emergency or health and safety repairs only. You should report all other repairs on the next working day.
