Here is a list of a number of other regeneration projects in Dunstable, and while these are not our projects we are often working alongside organisations to support them and work together to help businesses to grow and the area prosper.
Bennett’s Splash Park and Splashside café
This project has created a brand-new splash park and associated catering outlet in Bennett Memorial Recreation Ground. Bennett’s Splash Park is situated next to the existing sports pavilion, two thirds of which has been transformed into a new cafeteria area called the Splashside Café that overlooks the splash park.
As Bennett Memorial Recreation Ground is on the edge of the town centre (only 200m from the town market), this new facility will serve as both an important new facility for the growing population of Dunstable and to attract new visitors to the town and increase footfall.
It is anticipated that the splash park will attract between 15,000 and 20,000 visits during the opening period and the facility will serve as a westerly town centre anchor attraction. Ashton Square Car Park (the main town centre car park) will serve the new facility.
The Splashside Café is designed to be a large, flexible, open space that can be used throughout the year for community and private hirers so the town will also benefit from new additional community space in a very attractive setting.
The fast connections from Dunstable into Luton on the Busway and on into London helped persuade BBC Three Counties Radio to move to Dunstable town centre, at Grove Park. With the BBC relocating in June 2015 and the opening of the HQ Sports Bar (the second biggest outside of London), the Grove Park is now fully occupied.

Chinese company 4PX, a cross-border e-commerce solutions provider, has announced an agreement to lease a 240,000 square feet unit in Prologis Park in Dunstable, creating 400 jobs.
White Lion Retail Park
Owned by Pradera, Dunstable's White Lion Retail Park has been recently refurbished and is successfully attracting national retailers.
Creasey Park Drive – social housing development
As part of a garage redevelopment programme, four new homes were created in Creasey Park Drive – the first new social housing across the whole of Central Bedfordshire in almost 40 years.
Croft Green – sheltered housing development
Budget for a new, 23-unit, sheltered housing development at Croft Green has been approved.
Dukeminster Court – care home
Quantum Care has developed a new 75-room care home. Opened in 2015, it is positioned next to a stop on the Guided Busway, offering easy transport links to Luton and Dunstable.
