In-year applications for 2020

Information for parents/carers applying for a new school place for their child to start in September 2020.

Year 5: middle school

All other applications

You will be able to make your application online from 2 January 2020 using our online application system. You will also be able to complete a paper application form.

You must provide proof of your child's date of birth with your application. The processing of your application will be delayed if you fail to submit the relevant evidence.

Where applications are received by 31 May, we will try to process these by the end of the summer term, before the school summer holidays begin. If you have not received the outcome by 13 July, please contact us for an update on 0300 300 8037 or email admissions@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk.

We receive a high volume of applications to be processed during this time. We will write to you when we receive your application to let you know it has been received. We will then write to you with the outcome as soon as it has been processed.

Any applications made during July will likely be processed by the end of September 2020.

Applications are not processed during the school holidays. As the schools are closed during these periods, we can't liaise with school staff. It is therefore extremely unlikely that your child will be able to start at their new school at the beginning of term.
