Rent refunds or issues with your account
Refunds
If you have a credit on your rent account, you can request a refund by emailing housingbusinessteam@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk with the following information:
- full name
- date of birth
- address
- rent account number
- brief explanation of your request
- how you want the refund to be issued, e.g. bank transfer or cheque
If you are in arrears or in debt with other council departments, any credit will be used to reduce or clear the balance owed.
Issues with your rent account
If you believe an error has been made on your rent account, please email incomemanagementteam@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk immediately with the following information so we can investigate:
- full name
- address
- date of birth
- rent reference
- issue with your account
If you believe your account is missing a payment, please provide us with proof of your payment. We will need the date of payment, the amount paid, and a payment reference if possible.
