Rent refunds
If your rent account has a credit balance due to a large Housing Benefit award, you may be due a refund.
To apply for this you should email housingsystemsopsteam@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk stating your name, where you live, and your rent account number.
We normally don’t give refunds if you pay by Direct Debit and still have a weekly rental commitment.
If you owe a debt elsewhere to us, any credit held will be used to pay towards that debt first.
