Space, size and layouts – Stotfold Library consultation

The plans would see more library space for customers as set out below.
The existing library:
- public area excluding lobby and toilets etc. = 82.18 square metres
- staff areas = 16.85 square metres
Proposed new library:
- public area excluding lobby and toilets etc = 279.41 square metres
- café area, excluding kitchen = 28.76 square metres
- total public space = 308.17 square metres
- staff areas = 31.50 square metres

If a decision is made to proceed with the proposed new library location, Stotfold Town Council would submit a planning application to carry out some adaptive work on the hall to accommodate the library services.
