Easier recycling collections have started!
To support the new recycling service, some collection days have changed.
You can now recycle glass bottles and jars through your dry mixed recycling collections.
If you live in a flat, you’ll receive weekly food waste collections. We are working hard to deliver your food caddies. If you have not received your caddy by the end of April, please let us know.
If you were affected by the pause in mixed dry recycling collections, please visit our dedicated page.
Many common items can be recycled through your regular kerbside dry recycling collection.
We provide a green-lid wheelie bin (for residents in the north) or a orange-lid wheelie bin (for residents in the south) for dry recycling.
For houses that cannot accommodate bins, find out how to order refuse sacks.
We collect recycling fortnightly (on the same collection day but on the alternative week to your refuse collection). Check your bin calendar for the exact dates of collection.
Please ensure recycling is clean, dry has no food remains and is squashed before placing it loose in your bin/bag. Please do not place recyclable items in either black sacks or plastic bags, as your bin will not be collected.
