Unoccupied caravan or boat discount
Residential caravan pitches and boat moorings are usually banded for Council Tax and will receive a Council Tax bill. If the pitch or mooring is unoccupied (there is no caravan or boat on it), it will qualify for an exemption whilst empty.
If a pitch or mooring becomes occupied by a caravan or boat, but there is nobody living in that caravan or boat as their sole or main home, it will qualify for a 50% Council Tax discount. To apply for this discount, please contact us.
