Houghton Regis Day Centre for older people review
Following extensive mapping and engagement with Houghton Regis Day Centre, we developed a proposal for a new enhanced day service.
A consultation began on 14 August 2023 and ran until 6 November 2023. During this time, people who use the service, relatives and staff had the opportunity to have their say on the options being considered.
At its meeting on 6 February 2024, our Executive approved a proposal to move the current day service from its current building to new space at All Saints View and subsequently close the current centre.
Individuals using the service were assisted in transitioning to the new location and service, which commenced on Monday, January 13, 2025.
All Saints View
All Saints View is a new independent living scheme for over 55s located in the centre of Houghton Regis. Locating the day service here creates the opportunity to access community facilities, join a wide variety of activities and meet new people.
