Day services for older people

Day centres update: 26 May 2022

We are pleased to inform you that we have eased social distancing restrictions at our day centres. We will be contacting all existing customers to discuss their individual circumstances.

Our priority continues to be the safety of our customers, so the following measures will remain in place:

  • we will check the temperature of everyone who enters our day centres
  • staff will wear face masks when they are within two metres of customers
  • staff will use full PPE when offering support with personal care
  • we will keep the buildings well ventilated

Our alternative support will continue, including hubs, our virtual day offer and our outreach service.

If you have any questions, please contact your day centre directly in the first instance.

Our review of our day offer is ongoing, as we continue to consider the best way to provide day services for the future which will benefit our customers.
