What you can do

Check on your neighbours or people you know are vulnerable, make sure they have warm clothes, blankets and food which doesn’t need heating accessible. 

Check to see if you or someone you know can get extra help during bad weather through the Priority Services Register (Link to new page).

Water

Water authorities are responsible for the public water supply. All water companies must warn and inform their customers of problems that may affect their supply and provide alternative supplies.

What you can do

In the event of a loss of water supply, customers are advised to telephone the number on their water bills or check on the water company’s website.
