Lindsells Bridge - Biggleswade

Biggleswade Bridleway No. 11, to the north of Biggleswade, uses a level crossing to cross the four East Coast Main Line tracks. It is where walkers, cyclists and horse riders cross the railway.

Network Rail sees this crossing as high-risk and is looking to install a bridleway bridge to improve safety. We want to improve the public rights of way network at the same time.

The £5 million scheme will fund the bridge to form part of Biggleswade’s Green Wheel, a walking and cycling route around the outskirts of Biggleswade.
