Marston Vale development - Local Plan

What happens next with the Marston Vale consultation?

Following the end of the consultation, we have been considering all of the feedback received from statutory consultees, parish councils and residents.

The statutory timeframe for determining the application has now passed. Given the complex nature of the application, we have agreed with the developer, O&H, an extension of time for the determination period until 14 January 2019. This allows us and the developer to continue to better consider the consultation responses received so far from statutory consultees, parish councils and residents.

Next steps will be posted on this web page and issued by email alerts to subscribers. Those who comment on the application will be advised when the application is due to be heard by Development Management Committee (link opens in new window) and this page will be updated accordingly. The development management meeting is open to the public and webcast online (link opens in new window).

Should the proposal be granted, at this stage there will be further work in terms of design codes and reserved matters applications (setting out the details of individual development parcels) which need to be dealt with before the development can start.
