Return of grant scheme empowering Central Bedfordshire Ward Councillors to support local groups

We're thrilled to announce the return of our Ward Councillor Grant Scheme which aims to improve the lives of local residents by providing funds to support community led projects and initiatives.
With a commitment to supporting local communities, the grant scheme enables ward councillors to allocate funds to eligible organisations, projects and initiatives operating within their wards.
Each Central Bedfordshire councillor has access to £2,000 from which they can allocate match funded grants to local projects that demonstrate a community benefit. Councillors can also work together across a ward to combine their grants if that’s what is most needed.
Funding can be used for arts, cultural, environmental, sporting, health and wellbeing or social inclusion and diversity projects.
Applicants should discuss their ideas or proposals with their Ward Councillor prior to submitting their application online.
