It’s time to apply for your child’s school place for September 2023

We're reminding parents, guardians and carers in Central Bedfordshire that it’s time to apply for their child’s school place for next September.
Children born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 are due to start school in September 2023. Parents need to apply for a school place before 15 January 2023, even if their child already attends a nursery or pre-school on the school site.
Parents applying for a place for their child at a middle school (that’s Year 5) must also apply before 15 January 2023, even if the child already attends a feeder school and lives in the catchment area.
For children transferring to a secondary (year 7) or upper school (year 9) in September 2023, the deadline for applications is 31 October 2022.

It’s that time of year again when parents need to start applying for their children’s school places for September 2023. Submitting applications ahead of the deadline may increase your chances of getting your first choice. The easiest way to apply for a place is via our website, which also contains lots of information about the application process, so please apply as soon as possible.
