Parent governor academy school representative elected to our children’s committee

A new academy school parent governor representative has been elected to our Children’s Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
Two nominations were received by the 22 March closing date from academy school representatives and, after an election was held, the Monitoring Officer declared that Richard Bond was the winner.
Richard has now taken up his post as an academy school representative and has been elected to serve for the period of office up to April 2027, or until he resigns or ceases to be eligible to be a parent governor representative, if that is sooner.
