We send text messages (SMS), email reminders and voicemails to residents who are behind with their Council Tax. This is a new system for sending legitimate messages to residents.
If your Council Tax account falls into arrears, we may contact you before we take further recovery action. Find out more if you're having difficulty paying.
This service can help prevent statutory recovery notices being issued and may help you avoid paying expensive costs.
Although this service aims to prevent customers from falling further into arrears, you should not rely on it.
You are responsible for paying your instalments on time, in line with your bill. If you don’t, we may take recovery action.
