Bedford River Festival – Saturday 20 / Sunday 21 July 2024
Stagecoach Bedford will be operating additional journeys on route 9D (Bedford – Shefford – Stevenage) on the Saturday evening and during the day and evening on the Sunday.
Grant Palmer Ltd. will operate an additional Park and Ride service from Elstow Park and Ride site to Bedford Town Centre on the Saturday and Sunday.
A special train service will operate on the Marston Vale (Bletchley – Bedford) railway line on the Sunday.

Bus service changes from Sunday 21 July 2024
Centrebus routes B (Luton – Busway – Dunstable – Downside) and 46 (Luton – Slip End - Hemel Hempstead) have new timetables from Sunday 21 July 2024.

New Arriva route X1 (Luton – Dunstable – Hockliffe – Milton Keynes) will start operating from Monday 22 July 2024, operating an hourly service on Monday to Saturdays.
Luton to Dunstable Busway: part closure from Monday 8 July 2024
The busway will be closed between Chaul End Lane and Luton town centre for essential maintenance for approximately 3 weeks from Monday 8 July 2024. Buses will not be able to call at Clifton Road busway stop, and may be subject to minor delays as a result of this.
Stotfold – road closure
Queen Street, Stotfold is currently closed to all traffic, Centrebus route 96 and 96A and Arriva route 97 are unable to serve Rook Tree Lane until mid August.
Bus Service Changes from Monday 1 July 2024
Grant Palmer route 3 will be extended to run hourly between Bushmead (Weybourne Drive) via Cromer Way, Bushmead, Saints, Luton Town Centre and Park Town. Some peak hour journeys will operate as route 3A via Luton 6th Form College.
New Grant Palmer route will operate one return journey on Monday and Friday from Flitwick to Milton Keynes, via Ampthill, Ridgmont, Woburn Sands, Kingston Centre and Milton Keynes Hospital.
