Nature is facing challenges from climate change to development. Local Nature Recovery Strategies aim to identify local actions and locations where nature recovery can be delivered.

Central Bedfordshire Council are responsible for developing the strategy for Bedfordshire. We will be working closely with Bedfordshire Local Nature Partnership, Luton Borough Council and Bedford Borough Council along with a range of other partners and stakeholders.

We recently carried out a stakeholder survey and other engagement activites to gather views on nature in Bedfordshire.

We are currently reviewing the responses before carrying out further engagement to help us identity the priorities for Bedfordshire and where these could be delivered.
