School Age Range Meeting - meetings and agendas

School Age Range Meeting

About the School Age Range Meeting

The Council has delegated various powers in relation to determining proposals to alter the upper and lower age range of pupils in schools as prescribed by School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013. In making decisions on the age range for schools the Executive Member is required to take into account the views of local councillors, residents and:

  • the statutory and non-statutory guidance and the key factors for decision makers
  • the Admissions Code
  • any budget implications

To provide a forum for these decisions the Executive has determined that the School Age Range Meeting will take place as and when necessary to discuss proposals.
