How the changes affect you
These changes do not affect children already attending these schools. If you plan to apply for a reception or year 7 place in 2027, the changes could affect which school your child may be offered.
What happens next?
After the consultation closes, we will review responses and make final decisions on admission arrangements. The final arrangements will be determined by 28 February 2026 and published on our website by 15 March 2026. Any objections to the arrangements can be submitted to the Schools Adjudicator by 15 May 2026.
