You now require a booking to visit one of our four household waste recycling centres (HWRCs)
All residents are now required to book a 20-minute time slot before they visit. Bookings are free of charge and can be made up to two weeks in advance of your planned visit.
The booking system is in place to:
- ensure the sites are for Central Bedfordshire residents only
- reduce queues and waiting times
- provide staff assistance on-site
- boost recycling efforts, with staff available to help customers reuse and recycle more.
- control commercial waste disposal
Thorn Turn Household Waste Recycling Centre is open 7 days a week, from 9am to 5pm, including bank holidays.
