The Tour of Britain will pass through Central Bedfordshire on between approximately and . Some roads will be fully closed and others will be subject to rolling closures of up to 40 minutes.

23a – The departure from Luton Interchange and from Upper Sundon will terminate at Grampian Way, Sundon Park and will not serve Upper Sundon.
LOOP – The anti-clockwise LOOP service from CMK Rail Station will not serve Bow Brickhill or Woburn Sands and will divert from Walton Park roundabout via Wavendon Gate and Walton Road to Wavendon Arms PH.
Centrebus
E – The departure from Luton may be slightly delayed near Sundon Road / Chalton, but should be able to operate normal line of route.
89 – The departure from Hitchin may be slightly delayed near High Road, Shillington, but should be able to operate normal line of route.

34 – The service will be unable to serve Ampthill for the whole of the day, due to the closure of Woburn Road, and will divert via the A507 and can be caught at stops near the 101 Garage / Aldi in Flitwick.
42 – The departure from Bedford will be curtailed at Westoning, Toddington and Dunstable will not be served. The departure from Dunstable will commence at Westoning at . The departure from Dunstable and departure from Bedford will not operate in their entirety.
44 – All journeys from will divert via A507 / A600 to Haynes, then through Cotton End Road to Wilstead. Stops at Clophill Green / Flying Horse, Deadman’s Hill, Haynes West End and Briar Bank Park (Wilstead) will not be served. The diversion will lead to significant delays on this route, which may result in journeys being curtailed at short notice. The departure from Flitwick will also not serve Ampthill and Maulden and will divert via the A507.
68 – This service should not be directly affected.
74 – The and departures from Bedford will divert via Willington and will not serve Cople, Northill or Upper Caldecote. The departure from Bedford will be curtailed at Biggleswade and will not continue to Langford, Henlow and Hitchin. The departure from Hitchin will not operate in its entirety.
79 – The departure from Luton will operate via A6 bypass to Windsor Parade and on return loops via Bedford Road and A6 bypass and will not serve the centre of Barton-le-Clay.
200 – The departure from Flitwick will terminate at Stanford and will not serve Broom or Biggleswade. The departure from Biggleswade will commence at Stanford. Clophill Green will not be served between and with the service operating between Silsoe and Campton direct along the A507 in both directions of travel.
Stagecoach
9A, 9B – The 9A departure from Bedford will divert via the 9D routing between Shefford and Henlow Camp – Clifton, Henlow and Arlesey will not be served – but may still have to wait at Henlow Camp, Bird in Hand for road to clear. The 9B departure from Stevenage will be delayed at Henlow Camp, but no alternative option for diversion and will take the 9D route from Henlow Camp to Shefford, with Henlow and Clifton not served.
The 9A departure from Stevenage will operate via Shefford High Street and not Northbridge Street. The 9A departure from Bedford will do the same in the opposite direction.
The 9B departure from Bedford will operate direct via Deadman’s Cross instead of via Haynes village, but should just miss the closure of A600. The 9A departure from Bedford may be slightly delayed on A600 at Deadman’s Cross as the closure will be coming to an end. The 9A departure from Stevenage may be slightly delayed on A600 at Deadman’s Cross, for similar reasons.
MK1 – All journeys from will divert via A507 / A600 to Haynes, then through Cotton End Road to Wilstead, in both directions of travel. Stops at Clophill Green, Deadman’s Hill, Haynes West End and Briar Bank Park (Wilstead) will not be served. Will lead to significant delays on this route, which may result in journeys being curtailed at short notice.
The departure from Luton Airport and departure from Bedford will be delayed at the A600 closure for up to 20 minutes.
Other services
All other services and operators should not be affected.
