Where to get emergency hormonal contraception locally

Emergency contraception can be obtained free, by young women of any age from Brook, Terrance Higgins Trust, Sphere or GUM clinics.

You can find a list of pharmacists in Bedfordshire who can provide you with free emergency hormonal contraception following a consultation with the pharmacist.

It’s best to phone the pharmacy first to check that the accredited pharmacist is on duty.

You can also obtain a prescription for EHC from your GP. You can purchase it over the counter from a pharmacy if you are 16 or over. It costs about £25.
