The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) was a key part of the UK government’s ambition to level up communities by improving pride in place and increasing life chances across the country. The fund invested in 3 priority areas:
- Communities and Place
- Supporting Local Business
- People and Skills
Alongside UKSPF, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) provided targeted investment to address the specific economic challenges faced by rural areas.
From 2022, we successfully secured £6.104 million through UKSPF and REPF. Our investment plan focused on strengthening town centres, supporting businesses and rural communities, and enhancing skills and employment opportunities for local people. Funding was delivered up to March 2026, achieving outcomes across all three UKSPF investment priorities.
