The Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Academy (BESA) is part of Central Bedfordshire Council and has been delivering training and apprenticeships across Central Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas for over 10 years. We’re a high-quality training provider and were rated ‘Good’ in our Ofsted inspection in 2020.
We’ve worked with a range of local employers to support them to upskill their workforce and recruit apprentices, as well as hundreds of learners to support them through their qualification or apprenticeship.
We offer a blended apprenticeship delivery model. Your apprentice will complete their off-the-job learning through a mixture of classroom training, online learning and self-study, and observation and feedback. Your apprentice will attend a monthly tutorial session with other apprentices on the same programme, led by an experienced assessor. The rest of their off-the-job learning can be managed flexibly.
