Fridge and freezer collections will resume from Monday 23 March.

Priority will be given to existing bookings.  

New bookings will also reopen from Monday.

If you require a fridge/freezer to be collected, the cost of removal is £55.20. If you have more than one fridge/freezer for disposal, the cost is £55.20 (incl. VAT) per item. If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support, the standard fee is £27.70.

Your fridge/freezer needs to be empty before collection can take place. Commercial fridges/ freezers are not accepted.

Where do we collect your items?

We collect items from outside your property. They must be there by 7am. We cannot enter your property to make a collection.

How long does it take to book a collection?

We can usually collect within 7 days of the booking being made. Once it has been scheduled, our collection team will call to confirm the collection date.

Concessionary fee explained

If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support, the standard fee is a 50% reduction of the normal fee.
