Steps you need to take to marry or form a civil partnership in Central Bedfordshire

Before your marriage or civil partnership ceremony, you will need to:

choose a venue – view approved venues
for approved venues you will need to speak to the venue staff about their availability. This is not necessary for a Court House ceremony.
book your ceremony with us using the links below.
if you require a registrar for your marriage in a religious building, please contact us on 0300 300 8711
If your ceremony date is within 3 months please call 0300 300 8711 to book
We only take bookings up to 2 years in advance

Please note: You are required to give notice of marriage or civil partnership prior to your ceremony, to the Superintendent of the district where you live.

You cannot legally give notice more than 12 months in advance of your ceremony.
