Holiday activities and food programme (HAF)

How we can help your family during school holidays

Free activities for children during the school holidays

Our holiday activities and food (HAF) programme provides fun, free activities for children and young people aged five and upwards during the Easter, summer and Christmas school holidays. The programme is for children eligible for benefit related free school meals, which is a requirement from the Department for Education (DfE) which funds the programme.

There's always a range of activities on offer, including sports and games sessions, craft and creative activities and fun days out. Healthy snacks and lunch are also provided to all children and young people attending face-to-face activities.

Our sessions are inclusive, so are suitable for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

How to book HAF activities

We have partnered with evouchers.com (part of Wonde) and there is a new booking process for HAF activities. You can no longer sign up for HAF activities on our website.

Instead, schools will now assign a voucher to you, which you can use to book on to activities online. You will need to look out for an email or text message from HolidayActivities.com. There is more information about how to book in this step-by-step guide (PDF). There will be a separate voucher issued for each child with a unique code that will need to be used to book activities.

We already work with evouchers.com to distribute supermarket vouchers to eligible families during the school holidays. If you receive these, you will receive your HAF vouchers to the email address or phone number you use for these vouchers.

If you have any questions or need further support, you can contact support@evouchers.com.
