The Biggleswade Green Wheel is a walking and cycling circuit around Biggleswade, passing through areas of landscape, heritage and wildlife interest. The wheel encircles the town with a number of access 'spokes' linking areas of the town to the 'rim', and has been developed by ourselves and Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC) with support from Biggleswade Town Council.

In conjunction with local landowners, new paths have been created and existing routes upgraded to create a complete circuit 7.5 miles or 12 kilometres long, with the longer walkers' option including Biggleswade Common being 8.75 miles or 14 kilometres.

At present, the entire route can be walked, and the majority cycled. It is hoped that over the next year or two, further enhancements can be made to create a continuous cycling route.

Our leaflet shows the routes currently available.
