Drop-in events

We are a free, confidential and impartial support service for parents / carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We support children and young people from 0 to 25 in an educational setting.

We offer advice on:

  • finding a school
  • classroom support
  • SEND support plans
  • behaviour issues
  • education health and care plans
  • statements / education health care plans and annual reviews
  • school transitions
  • exclusions

Types of support we offer:

  • telephone helpline
  • leaflets and newsletters
  • downloadable resources via our website and social media
  • help with forms, letters and other paperwork
  • information on local support groups
  • home visits and support at school meetings

You can turn up on the day or telephone in advance to let us know you are coming, we will be very happy to meet you. If you cannot get to a session and need to talk to someone, please telephone us.
