Pan-Bedfordshire IFA provider forum
Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough and Luton Councils would like to invite local and national Independent Fostering Agencies (IFAs) to a Pan-Bedfordshire provider forum at the Leagrave Centre, Luton on Monday, 13 May 2019.
This event will cover:
- in-year developments for our Dynamic Purchasing System for commissioning IFA placements
- the Valuing Care project at Central Bedfordshire Council
- sufficiency and market position statements across all three local authorities
- IFA recommissioning - 2020 and beyond
We welcome providers who are already members of our DPS framework as well as new providers and new start-ups. A full agenda of workshops will be sent in due course.
Refreshments will be available. Please let the organisers know if you have any accessibility requirements to enable you to participate in the session.

Provision of Fostering Placements
Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and Luton Borough Council wish to receive applications to join our collaborative Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) placements and Specialist Placements as an Alternative to Residential Care (SPARC).

Regeneration and Business Consultancy Framework
The OJEU notice for the framework was issued on Tuesday 28 May 2019 to TED for publication.
Please note that the anticipated release date for the tender pack and project publication on the In-Tend portal will be Friday 31 May 2019.

There has been an amendment to the number of LOTS, with the removal of Strategic Transport, the LOT structure is as follows:

- Lot 3 Specialist Planning Advice
- Lot 4 Planning and Development Management
- Lot 5 Business engagement, events management and promotion
- Lot 6 Land Drainage and Specialist Design/ Checking Support

Please note that due to the potential number of suppliers in the market this will not guarantee that you are included on requests for quotations.
How to tender
If you wish to tender for a particular contract, you should refer to the instructions set out in the individual quotation and tender documents.
Please do not send unsolicited marketing material. We don’t consider this when conducting competitive procurement exercises.
