Requirements over the EU threshold values are advertised first in the Official Journal of the European Union. Quotes are sought for requirements below £60k. We do not use approved lists of suppliers. If you wish to let us know the goods you provide or services you undertake, you can do this by:
- contacting the relevant service area for your goods/services

How to tender
If you wish to tender for a particular contract, you should refer to the instructions set out in the individual quotation and tender documents.
Please do not send unsolicited marketing material. We don’t consider this when conducting competitive procurement exercises.
In addition, Business Link (link opens in new window) provides guidance on how to quote or tender for public sector work.
The guidance gives advice on selling to the Government but local authorities are bound by the same procurement legislation and similar principles.
Business Link also provides a link to a free online training module called Winning the Contract (link opens in new window).
