Bedfordshire Lieutenancy: Bedfordshire Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2022

HM The Queen’s Birthday Honours List for 2022 has been announced and includes five Bedfordshire recipients.

Those who have been successful are as follows.

Officers of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)

Mr Lance Haggith (Bedford)

Founder, Sports Trader. For charitable and voluntary services to Vulnerable People, particularly during Covid-19.

Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

Ms Sanjeevini Dutta (Luton)

Director, Kadam Dance. For services to Dance.

Mrs Donna Neely-Hayes (Bedford)

Headteacher, Denbigh High School, Luton. For services to Education.

Ms Jane Redrup (Central Bedfordshire)

Head of Office for Nuclear Regulation Sponsorship Team, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. For services to Diversity and Inclusion

Medallists of the Order of the British Empire (BEM)

Mr William Cooke (Central Bedfordshire)

Head of Workforce Health, Safety and Environment, Network Rail. For services to the Railway and to Charity.

Mr Gordon Gray (Central Bedfordshire)

For services to the community in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.


HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis said:

We are exceptionally fortunate in Bedfordshire to have so many wonderful people giving their services and time freely and generously for the benefit of others. I am delighted that these individuals have been honoured during this very special Platinum Jubilee year and I offer them my sincere congratulations and best wishes.
