Support available for young people who are expecting their exam results

We have a number of services available to support young people who will be receiving their exam results this week.
We provide impartial, up-to-date and reliable information on education, employment and training opportunities for young people aged 13 to 19 years old (up to 25 for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities).
Our Find Your Future website has lots of information available for free, including how to write a CV, how to prepare for a job interview and the kinds of skills people should demonstrate to increase their employability. There are also career quizzes available for anyone unsure about what they want to do, and information about careers in different sectors.

The Academy offers quality apprenticeship programmes, which combine on-the-job practical skills with academic learning. Pupils who have finished their GCSEs or A levels can apply to complete an apprenticeship in a range of sectors. The Academy offers apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 5.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both GCSE and A-level exams were cancelled this year. Pupils will receive grades based on teacher assessments, instead.
