We've launched a business survey to review Stratton Business Park Local Development Order

Friday, 11 June 2021

We've launched a survey to capture the thoughts of local businesses on the Stratton Business Park in Biggleswade to feed into the review of the Stratton Business Park Local Development Order.

The current order has been in place since 2015.

Local development orders (LDOs) can be made by local planning authorities to extend permitted development rights or grant planning permission. This can include changes of use and small-scale developments such as building extensions, installation of photovoltaic panels and changes to signage. Local development orders are intended to simplify local planning.

The survey is open for six weeks, closing on Friday 23 July 2021 and can be completed by businesses online.

Complete the survey

Our Executive Member for Planning and Regeneration, Councillor Kevin Collins, said:

We welcome the thoughts of local businesses which will help us to propose a new revised LDO that makes Stratton Business Park an attractive environment for businesses to grow and relocate to.

All businesses are encouraged to complete the survey which will help inform us of businesses views in the area and if any adjustments need to be made to the local development order which is due to be adopted again later this year.

Following the survey, results will be analysed, and a public consultation will be launched in the autumn on a proposed revised local development order.
