A national survey seeks the views of carers
Wednesday, 22 October 2025
We've sent out the national Adult Carers Survey 2025 to a sample of around 900 carers living in Central Bedfordshire.
The survey is seeking the views of unpaid adult carers on a range of topics about their caring role. The survey is part of a national programme to help make improvements to the services and support needs of carers.
Councillor Mark Smith, our Executive Member for Adult Social Care, said:
It is important that carers tell us what they think about the services they receive from us. By sharing their views, it allows us to understand how we can support carers more and provide them with the right help to continue the important role of looking after their loved ones.
Everyone who receives the survey is encouraged to complete and return it using the prepaid envelope provided. Deadline to return the survey is 30 November.
The anonymised results will be used by organisations such as the Department of Health and Social Care, the Care Quality Commission, and us, to improve services.
