School Notifiable Projects
Schools planning extensions, alterations, maintenance, service works and demolition to their school buildings / site are required to notify us and seek approval for the works to be carried out, by submitting a School Notifiable Project application. This is a 2 stage application process, with safety being the most important reason for compliance with the process. The first stage application is assessed to ensure the project fits with our strategic asset management objectives (suitability, condition and sufficiency data). The second stage application is assessed in terms of health and safety, building regulation and insurance requirements.
