Access and Inclusion Service
The Access and Inclusion Service in Central Bedfordshire is responsible for ensuring that parents carry out their legal duty to ensure that their children receive a suitable education.
The service is responsible for:
- school attendance
- exclusions from school
- Fair Access Protocol (FAP)
- support to traveller children
- child employment
- children in entertainment
- children missing education
- home education (also known as 'elective home education' or 'education otherwise than at school')
