Get safe online is less about getting online and more focussed about protection and safety online. This is backed by government (e.g. Department for Culture, Media and Sport) and private sector (e.g. Barclays Bank).
Online safety advice for young people
The web is a great resource for kids. They can use it to research school reports, communicate with teachers and other kids, and play interactive games. Kids who are old enough to swipe a screen can have access to the world. But they need to be careful online and might not realise when they stray on to sites which aren't appropriate. The kids health website offers advice for parents to make sure children stay safe online.
