We will always recommend that a deposit (for damages/security/etc) is requested from tenants to protect you against financial loss for damage made during the tenancy.
We are registered as an agent with the TDS deposit scheme (link opens in new window). If you have your own registration, you are welcome to register the tenant’s deposit, however we do offer this service free of charge to landlords using our lettings service.
