Apply for a middle school place

The deadline has passed for on-time applications

15 January 2023 was the deadline for on-time applications.

Any applications received between 16 January and 2 May 2023 will be processed in the late allocation round. The offer date for late applications is 23 May 2023.

How to apply

• if we're your council, you need to apply through us
• if we're not your council, you'll need to apply through them (find out who your council is on GOV.UK)

Apply online for your middle school place

Applying online is quick, simple and safe. In fact, over 90% of parents and carers applied online for a middle school place.

If your child isn't in their normal year group

Please apply by post (instructions below). Unfortunately, you can't use the online application, as it won't recognise your child's date of birth.

If you can't apply online, don't worry; you can also apply by post. Here's how:

1. get an application form
   You can download an application form, pick one up from any of our schools or we can post one to you (just call us on 0300 300 8037 and ask)
2. complete the form
3. send the completed form to:

   SG17 5TQ

We need to receive your application by the 15 January 2023 deadline.

Please don't make both an online and postal application. We'll only process the latest one (if it's sent before the deadline).
