Best Bar None awards scheme for pubs and bars

Best Bar None accreditation

Licensed premises across Central Bedfordshire can sign up for the scheme. The pub/bar is visited by an independent assessor who decides if they meet the criteria to be accredited.

Awards and giving customers peace of mind

All venues who achieve Best Bar None accreditation receive a plaque and window sticker to proudly display in venue. In addition, awards are in place to commend and further publicise those venues who go above and beyond the basic criteria in the following ways:

  • Overall Winner
A points based award. The venue who has achieved the most points in their assessment will be awarded overall winner
  • Innovation Award
This award is to encourage venues to work with their staff to promote the Best Bar None Central Bedfordshire annual theme. This year’s theme is violence against vulnerable customers. With more and more cases appearing both locally and nationally, the issue of vulnerability and how venue staff can support vulnerable patrons is increasing in importance
  • Community Award
This award is for venues that have contributed to their community by providing a safe environment and a central hub within their local area.
