(Closed) Have your say on stage 2 of our boundary review for Eggington and Leighton-Linslade
Consultation closed: Wednesday 30 March 2022
Consultation opened: Thursday 6 January 2022
We asked to hear your views on the second stage of a proposal which concerns Eggington parish's boundary.
We're the decision maker on this possible change, which is called a community governance review.
We are in the process of doing a community governance review because we received a formal request from Leighton-Linslade Town Council to do so in 2021.
The first part of the process was a consultation on three options for Eggington’s parish boundary. The public consultation ran from 16 September 2021 to 10 November 2021. The options were:
- option 1: Eggington Parish boundary remains unchanged
- option 2: Leighton-Linslade Parish boundary is extended to incorporate certain areas of land and the Eggington Parish area would be reduced
- option 3: a new parish is created
After considering all the feedback from the consultation, our General Purposes Committee recommended that, at the present time, the parish boundary of Eggington remains unchanged.
We then asked for your feedback as to whether you support this draft recommendation or not.
