About Traffic Management Meetings
The Council has delegated various powers in relation to traffic matters to the Executive Member for Community Services. In making decisions on traffic matters the Executive Member is required to take into account the views of local Councillors and other residents and to ensure that a notice is provided of any decisions to be taken. To provide a forum for these decisions the Executive Member has determined that the a Traffic Management Meeting will take place when necessary to discuss proposals or concerns relating to several matters, which includes the following:
- on-street and off-street parking
- parking enforcement
- public petitions
- speed restrictions
- traffic calming measures
- waiting restrictions
