PlusBus rail ticket upgrades

PlusBus is an add-on ticket that can be purchased when buying rail tickets at more than 280 locations around the country, including a number in Central Bedfordshire.

PlusBus offers unlimited bus travel on participating operators’ bus services throughout the PlusBus zone surrounding each station. PlusBus tickets can be bought on a daily or season ticket basis and can be used around the station where you start your journey, around your destination station, or both. Further discounts on PlusBus fares are available to railcard holders.

Tickets can be bought from ticket offices or self-service ticket machines at stations, and from rail ticketing websites. PlusBus is now also available as an eticket from rail ticketing websites, in the form of a QR code, downloadable to your smart phone which you can then show to the bus driver or scan on the ticket machine on the bus.

The prices shown are for an adult rate day ticket. Tickets for railcard holders and children are discounted. PlusBus can be added to weekly, monthly or annual rail season tickets.
