Garden waste bin capacity is 240 litres.
Customers are permitted up to three garden waste bins per property.
Reusable sacks will not be collected from 1 April 2024. If you currently use reusable sacks and do not have a garden waste wheelie bin, you will need to indicate this when you subscribe to the service, and we will deliver a wheelie bin to you.
We have decided to move away from using reusable garden waste sacks because they pose a health and safety risk to our collection crews. They can be heavy to lift and can become tangled in collection vehicle machinery.
If space is an issue at your property, you can request a smaller 140-litre bin. Smaller bins will be charged at the same standard rate.
We will only provide you with a new garden waste bin(s) if you have subscribed for the service and paid for an additional bin, want a smaller bin, to replace reusable sacks or if your bin is damaged and can't be used.
