These workshops and online courses are free for learners aged 19+ subject to meeting funding criteria.

About Multiply
Multiply is a government-funded programme helping adults to build confidence with everyday numeracy.
Delivered in collaboration with Bedford Borough Council and our partner training providers, Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Academy has received funding to deliver free workshops which will help you feel more confident with the maths you come across in your daily life.
Multiply can support you to:
- confidently use maths skills at work and home
- achieve an accredited maths qualification
- unlock new career and learning opportunities
- build confidence managing your money
- shop for less and learn to cook around your lifestyle
- support your children with maths homework
Choose from:
- introductory workshops to build confidence with first steps towards a maths qualification
- money skills workshops to support you with managing your finances and making your money go further
- creative skills workshops to develop confidence with numbers through crafts and games
- short online courses to practise skills to support you with day-to-day tasks whenever suits you
There are vouchers for completing learning available, including supermarket vouchers and Amazon vouchers. You can access this free suite of skills workshops, courses and online modules if you’re an adult aged 19 years and over in Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough.
Multiply workshops are delivered in community venues across Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough, as well as virtually on Microsoft Teams.
There is also a range of independent online courses so you can learn at your own pace at a time that suits you.
