If you or no-one living at your property can put your bin out for collection, we can help.
We can collect, empty and return your bins to your property.
This can be a temporary or permanent arrangement.
You can apply if you:
- are in poor health
- have a mobility issue or a disability
- are elderly and struggle with the bin

To apply for a free assisted collection, you'll need to contact us:
- with your address and contact information
- to tell us why you need an assisted collection, and for how long for
Apply for an assisted bin collection
If, following collection, the crew fails to return your bin to the normal place and you are unable to move it yourself, please:
- leave the bin where it is
- notify us by either calling 0300 300 8000 or by emailing env.services@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk
We'll request the contractor to return and move the bin back to the correct position.
Stopping an assisted bin collection
You might only need this assistance for a short while. That's fine. Once you or someone living at your property is able to put your bin out again, we can stop the service. Get in touch and we can arrange this.
