Dementia support
There are a range of services and activities available for people with dementia and their carers in Central Bedfordshire.
From 1 April 2026, the Memory Navigation Service and the Local Dementia Support Groups will be brought together to form the Dementia Post Diagnostic Support Services, delivered by Tibbs Dementia Foundation.
Tibbs Dementia Foundation is the first port of call for those impacted by Dementia or memory loss in Central Bedfordshire. The service navigates those affected by dementia or memory loss to the right information, services or support that is needed. It provides practical, financial and emotional support, including a befriending service, access to a fully trained Dementia nurse, carers grants and a range of local group support services.
